I started in engineering: an MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2016–22), a stint as a satellite control engineer in the Aristotle Space and Aeronautics Team (2018–19), and interface work at the university’s IT Center from 2019, first as a UI designer and web developer, then from 2022 as a UI/UX designer on the EWP Dashboard. A Master’s in Interaction Design and Technologies at Chalmers (2023–25) followed, and my thesis installation has run in two Gothenburg museums since 2025.
From June 2025 to July 2026 I was a UX Designer and Scrum Master at Ericsson in Gothenburg, working on dense private-5G software where the job was making complicated tools clear for expert users. Most of what I'm proudest of there sat between design and engineering: a tool I built that makes Figma files readable by AI coding agents, a set of co-creation methods that Frida Edstam and I co-created and presented at the Ericsson Developer Conference, and, in a team hackathon, a generative UI proposal for data-dense dashboards. Towards the end I took on the Scrum Master role for the UX team: I hosted sprint planning, two morning stand-ups a week, the retro and the design critique, and took in management’s priorities.
The design-systems side shows in the EWP Dashboard, where I built a type scale, a button system with every interaction state and one icon set, and in the card component and specs at Ericsson. The collaborative side is co-design: with a curator, a communicator and a graphic designer at Röhsska and a museum educator at Mölndal, and at Ericsson with Frida Edstam, on co-creation methods we presented at the Ericsson Developer Conference.
My way of working: I take something complex, understand it, make it clear for the users, design it as a system, and build it with the people involved.
Outside work I'm a music person. I play synthesizers (piano came first, as a kid), I listen to a lot of vinyl, and I go to gigs whenever I can; Gothenburg's local scene is a big part of why I like living here. Sound and light keep turning up in my projects too, from a table that plays a melody when two people touch to software for stage lighting. I like living in the in-between of design, technology and human connection.
